Tours of castles in Romania
In the European state, many medieval castle complexes have survived, striking in their external views and interiors. Its architecture surprises, since it was built, rebuilt over the centuries, you can see elements of different styles, including Rococo, Renaissance, Baroque.
The castle belonged to different owners, each of them brought something of their own, so in the design you can see both Moorish and Turkish motives, elements of the Baroque style coexist with the Renaissance ones. Guests can see oriental carpets, chic china, chandeliers made of the famous Murano glass. Expensive materials - leather, ivory, gold leaf - are used in interior decoration. There are works of art - paintings, tapestries, sculptures.

The most unusual and mystical excursion awaits tourists in the town of Bran, where the castle of the same name is located, which is considered the main residence of the Romanian ghouls. Although, on the other hand, historians claim that there have never been any ghouls here, but the castle is an important monument of Romanian history and medieval art.
It is better to walk around the castle with an experienced guide, because there are many labyrinths and dungeons in the castle. Among the most interesting sights of Bran Castle are the Powder Tower; apartments for King Ferdinand; a music salon that belonged to Queen Mary; old chapel; secret staircase.
Particular attention of visitors to the castle is attracted by the well located in the courtyard of the complex.
