Tashkent TV tower
The 375-meter TV tower attracts tourists with its observation deck at a 94-meter height (those who climbed here on one of the 3 elevators will have a chance to admire the best panorama of Tashkent); as well as the Koinot restaurant, which has blue (located at a 98-meter height; specializing in oriental dishes) and red (occupies an area at a 104-meter height; the menu is aimed at fans of European cuisine) halls (in both halls there is a floor - the platform rotates, making a full turn for 1 hour, which allows you to admire the beauty of Tashkent from a height, sitting at the tables installed at the panoramic windows).
Useful information: address: Amir Temur street, 109, website: www.tv-tower.uz, entrance to the tower is carried out upon presentation of a passport (ticket price - 15,000 soums / adults; 7,500 soums / children).
Tashkent chimes
Chimes - one of the symbols of Tashkent, represent a building with a tower, in the facades of which hour dials are mounted. It is known that the clockwork was brought by Eisenstein from Germany after World War II as a trophy (he removed it from the Town Hall building, which was badly damaged during the battle).
It is worth noting that in 2009 a similar building appeared in the city, albeit turned in the opposite direction (the main feature of the new building is the presence of a staircase that leads to the tower), and in addition, in the twin towers you can visit exhibitions of contemporary artists and designers.
Kukeldash Madrasah
The madrasah was built of baked bricks, and colored majolica was used as decoration. The madrasah has managed to be a place of execution, a fortress of khans, a caravanserai for merchants, a place for meetings for Muslims … Today, the madrasah is an educational spiritual institution for Muslims. It is worth noting that in the corners of the building there are towers, from where believers are called to worship (namaz).
Ferris wheel
A 42-meter attraction (makes a full revolution in 7 minutes; 8000 LED bulbs are installed on both sides of the Wheel, which turn on at dusk) can be found in Lokomotiv Park - from there, from a height, even in the cold season, you can admire the Tashkent beauties (in order to avoid accidents, only the operator-landing operator is able to open the doors of each of the 24 cabins).
