This is how the name of Donau-Auen National Park is translated from German. It stretches along a large European river and most of it is made up of swamps and floodplains in the Danube floodplain.
In the park you can find silvery willow and some especially rare species of orchids, and for fans of outdoor activities, the Danube Cycling Route, which starts in Germany and ends in Hungary, is laid here.

The smallest national park in Austria, Tayatal, is located on the border with the Czech Republic. The name was given to him by the river Taya, picturesquely winding among the hills and closing the circle at the foot of Mount Umlaufberg.
