To see Paris and … to drive also to Nice, Marseille, Toulouse or Lyon is the dream of any person who prefers eternal values and European service. There is nothing easier, because the airports of France are waiting for an inquisitive art critic, and a fastidious gourmet, and a fan of endless lavender expanses, and a fearless conqueror of alpine ski slopes.
For a Russian tourist, the easiest way to France is a direct flight Moscow - Paris on the wings of Aeroflot or Air France. Travel time will be a little less than 4 hours. Connecting flights are possible by all well-known European air carriers, and charters are organized from the capital of Russia to the French Alps during the ski season.
International airports in France
In addition to the capital, there are about two dozen international airports in the country, many of which are of interest to Russian tourists:
- The air port of Saint-Exupéry in Lyon serves the southeast of the country. Of the three terminals 1 and 2 are used as international terminals, and the transfer to the city is carried out by high-speed trams, covering 20 km in half an hour. Website - www.lyonaeroports.com.
- Provence is entered through the French airport in Marseille. The last reconstruction of the passenger terminal took place here in 2013, and as a result, the terminal received three dozen new restaurants and shops. The cheapest way to get here from Moscow is on Ryanair wings with a connection in one of the European cities. Details on the website - www.mrsairport.com.
- The airport in Toulouse is responsible for the southwest and receives flights from all French cities and many European ones. Every 15 minutes, an express tram leaves from Terminal B to the city center. There is also a bus stop there. Buses connect the Toulouse air harbor with Andorra. Metropolitan direction
The international airport of France in Paris is one of the main aviation centers of the planet. More than 60 million passengers use its services annually. Air France is based at Charles de Gaulle Airport and is the European hub for Delta Air Lines. Hundreds of planes from dozens of countries around the world land in the Paris air harbor every day.
There is a bus service between the three terminals, but the journey can take quite a long time, and therefore connections in Paris should be planned very carefully. Aeroflot's aircraft are served in Terminal 2C.
