Hotels and hotels
The ski resorts of Italy have their own hotel infrastructure - there are chalets and apartments. Hotels as such are not very common here, and those that exist are quite simple. Hostels loved by young people will gladly settle for the night for 14–20 €, but there are also more expensive options.
Nutrition
Prices in restaurants are also different. In a small town, you can find an unsightly cafe with huge prices, while in Rome or Florence, there are restaurants that are quite affordable for a budget tourist. The usual cost of lunch in an average restaurant is 30-50 €. You can, of course, eat fast food or cheap pizza, but this is not an option at all. Expensive restaurants delight with local cuisine and various menus, but prices here start at 100 € for a small snack.
Transport
There are special tourist tickets in Italy. They are universal for all types of transport, and their price depends on the number of days. A one-day ticket will cost 4-5 €, the same ticket for a whole week - 12 €. The taxi fare is approximately 1 € per kilometer, and a hotel call fee is also charged. This is somewhere around 2–3 €. Don't forget about extra charges on holidays and weekends.
To rent a car, you need to have a credit card with 500 €. The money is blocked as collateral. There are also many different rules and insurances in case of unforeseen situations. In addition, in Italy most of the roads are toll, so car rental is profitable if the route only runs on free roads.
