This interesting country attracts not only with its resorts, but also with excellent medicine. Many people come here to visit holy places. There are many people from the republics of the former Soviet Union, so coming here you are not at all surprised by the familiar speech. The cost of living in Israel depends on many factors - city, season, etc. Jerusalem, for example, is a rather expensive city.
Accommodation
The hotel business is very developed in Israel, so you can choose a hotel for every taste. It is recommended not to pay attention to their so-called "stardom", but to choose based on the description of the services and rooms provided. The thing is that Israel has its own hotel classification system, and tour operators often add confusion. They also take a certain deposit upon check-in. Where to live in Israel:
- hotels;
- zimmers;
- private sector;
- hostels.
With hotels, everything is more or less clear. An average hotel will ask for a day from 50 € per person, more luxurious - from 100 €. Zimmers are guest houses with everything you need. They usually live here for a short time, but the longer you live, the less you pay. On average, the price per day is about 80 €, but you can live with a family. In the private sector, it is better to rent housing from friends or on advice, since it is far from always convenient and profitable. This is especially noticeable in urban apartments, where the price for a room can be much higher than a room in a hotel nearby. Such a civilized country cannot do without hostels. The prices here are also different - from 20 € per bed. Sometimes they reach 60–70 €, it all depends on the location.
Nutrition
It is a crime not to taste the local street fast food. Moreover, the price for it is low - only 5 €. You can dine in a cafe or restaurant for 20-30 €, in the city center the prices are higher. Expensive restaurants surprise you both with their dishes and prices. A good practice for those who come for a long time is supermarkets and bazaars. Food prices in Israel are reasonable, so you can safely enjoy different delicacies.
Transport
The downside of all public transport in Israel is that it does not run on Shabbat (Friday evening and Saturday morning) and on Jewish holidays. Only taxis and minibuses work. For boarding a taxi, they will take a little more than 1 €, the same will cost a kilometer. A ticket in a minibus will also cost 1 €. Renting a car is very inexpensive. But gasoline is very expensive, so this type of transport is completely unprofitable.
