Prices in Monaco are high: they are slightly higher than in neighboring France (lunch in a good restaurant costs about 30-40 euros, cigarettes - 5 euros / 1 pack, a bottle of water - 2 euros).
Shopping and souvenirs
When shopping in Monaco, boutiques of famous brands (Gucci, Prada, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton) are waiting for you. There will be plenty to choose from for lovers of watches and jewelry.
The largest number of stores is concentrated in Monte Carlo and La Condamine. In Monaco, at your service are the Fontvieille, Metropol shopping centers, as well as the Golden Circle shopping complex.
Shopaholics are best off visiting the principality during the sales season (January-February, late June-late August).
In memory of Monaco, you should bring:
- antiques, jewelry, perfumes and cosmetics, ceramics (souvenir mugs, plates, magnets decorated with the symbols of the principality), paintings, books, clothes and shoes, stamps, models of motor boats;
- chocolate, candied fruits.
In Monaco, you can buy Formula 1 attributes (caps, T-shirts and other souvenirs) from 3 euros, casino attributes (souvenir chips, cards, poker sets) - from 2 euros, perfumes - from 15 euros.
Excursions
