Prices in Austria are at the average European level: in the Austrian capital they are lower than in such large European cities as Rome, London and Paris, but higher than in Budapest and Prague.
Shopping and souvenirs
In order to acquire great things at attractive prices, it is advisable to come to shopping in Austria during the sales period (July-August, December-February).
Local shopping malls offer branded items - accessories, bijouterie, jewelry, shoes and clothing.
The shopping center is Vienna with its streets Graben, Kohlmarkt, Kertner Strasse, Mariahilfer Strasse, where you will find shops and shopping centers with a wide range of goods.
What to bring back from Austria?
- porcelain products, agate and quartz souvenirs, music boxes, miniature models of steam locomotives, lace products, sheep wool products (sweater, hat, plaid), national clothes (women's cotton blouses with embroidery, men's suede trousers);

Excursions
On a bus tour of Vienna, you can admire the historical and architectural monuments - the Town Hall, the University, the Vienna Opera, the Parliament. In addition, you will see the famous Great Ferris Wheel.

Going on a sightseeing tour of Salzburg, you will see the Trinity Temple, the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the Cathedral, the Ursuline Monastery, walk along Getreidegasse Street and see the house in which Mozart was born.
The cost of this excursion is approximately 30 euros.
Entertainment
You should definitely visit the Museum "The Magic World of Swarovski": here you will get acquainted with the fragile magical world created from crystal and fantasy (you will see the largest and smallest crystals in the world and purchase exquisite souvenirs).

Transport
To travel by public transport (bus, metro, tram), you need to buy a single ticket. The price of 1 trip is 1, 8 euros. But it is more convenient to purchase a ticket that gives the right to free and unlimited travel. The cost of a ticket valid for 24 hours is 5, 7 euros, and for 3 days - 13, 5 euros.
To get on a taxi in Vienna, you will pay 2.5 euros + 1.2 euros - for each kilometer of the way.
Important: in a taxi you will have to pay the additional cost of any baggage.
Your minimum daily spending on holidays in Austria will be 60-80 euros per person, but for a more comfortable stay you will need 100-120 euros per day per person.
