Tivat is an international airport in Montenegro located between the resorts of Kotor and Budva, in close proximity to the city of the same name Tivat. Locals call the air dock the “Gate of the Adriatic”. Flights to Belgrade depart from here every day throughout the year and to Domodedovo twice a week. The airline operates during daylight hours and is mainly focused on servicing charter flights.

The structure of the airport includes an artificial runway with a length of 2.5 kilometers, capable of receiving aircraft with a takeoff weight of up to 170 tons. The airport in Budva cooperates with 20 airlines in the world, including the Russian air carriers Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, and Russia. A small airport has a little more than 10 check-in counters, so a large number of people gather here during the season. Nevertheless, its turnover is about 500 thousand passengers per year.

The first passenger flight to Tivat took place in May 1930. Only 9 people became its passengers. They were the organizers of the flight, five journalists and a pilot. This marked the beginning of the development of aviation in Montenegro.
