Popular beaches

The best sandy beaches in Amsterdam are Blijburg aan Zee and Strand West. Both of these beaches are quite large - they stretch for 5-6 km, but even so they are often packed to capacity. Strand West Beach has appeared recently, but has already become quite popular. Locals come here on weekends, and guests of the city spend whole weeks here. A beautiful view of the Ay river opens from here. In addition to the beautiful view, the beach has a number of pleasant surprises for vacationers:

Paphos beach Blijburg aan Zee

On the Blijburg aan Zee beach, the atmosphere can be called bohemian, so most often visiting vacationers prefer it. This beach is located on the east side of the complex of islands called Iburg. Its dimensions are not so large - only 250 meters long and 40 meters wide, but there are almost never too many tourists here. It is noteworthy that in the evening campfires are often arranged here and national songs are sung, as well as small festivals are held with the participation of local and foreign dance and music groups. Visiting DJs create an almost festive atmosphere, forcing vacationers to start dancing - night discos on the beaches of Blijburg aan Zee are commonplace. This beach is well suited if you have hot young blood and want not only to relax on the beach, but also to gain unforgettable impressions in a new country. It is very easy to get here - from the Central Station in the direction of the beach there is tram number 26, which will take you clearly to your destination.
