In Bratislava, it is advised to visit shopping and entertainment centers in order to buy something practical or take away a souvenir as a keepsake. In the city center, there is no shopping street usual for many large European cities. Of course, there are some small shops in low concentration, there is even a central department store - "Tesco". But it does not shine with a wide variety of goods. The prices there are average European, quite acceptable, the filling with goods is standard for Europe. Souvenirs, groceries, clothes for the whole family and all occasions, jewelry, books, electronics - everything is there. Sales take place in January-February and July-August.

Popular retail outlets

The shopping and entertainment center "AVION" is characterized by its huge size, located on Ivanská cesta street. Travel time to it from the city center, according to some sources, is 15 minutes, according to others - no more than 40 minutes. In any case, it won't take long to get to it. The center unites several large hypermarkets - the Swedish household IKEA, the Italian furniture Chateau d'Ax, and the Electro World Bermuda triangle for men, in the sense that other men can “hang out” in it for an unlimited time.

The luxurious shopping and entertainment center Eurovea is located on the equally beautiful Danube embankment, next to the fashionable Sheraton hotel.

We are looking for the shopping and entertainment center "AUPARK" in the Petrzalka area. It is conveniently located relative to the city's transport system, just 10 minutes walk from the city center in Novy Most. In addition to the myriad product range, the store has a theater booth, a dry cleaner, a pharmacy, and a watchmaker's workshop.

We are looking for a market in Bratislava on Mileticova street. The freshest produce from the surrounding farms is here. But for artifacts from the depths of time, we go, for example, to the ruins of the Devin castle - the place was chosen very symbolically. There are several such antique parties in the city in a month in different geographic locations. Every weekend you can find this or that "flea" open, but the time and place always require clarification.
