The Ethnological Museum opened its doors to visitors in 2002. With exhibits, videos and an excellent photo gallery on display in the museum, you will be able to get acquainted in detail with the music and religion of the region, the peculiarities of clothing, agriculture, confectionery, the textile industry, etc.

The permanent exhibition of the Ethnological Museum contains about 550 exhibits, while the rest is kept in museum funds. You will be able to see an excellent collection of traditional costumes and hats, various tools and household utensils, bronzes and ceramics, olive oil press, jewelry, musical instruments, historical documents and much more. The museum also has its own excellent library.

The activities of the museum are aimed at collecting, studying and preserving information related to the local culture and traditions of Thrace, as well as popularizing this knowledge among the younger generation. To this end, the Ethnological Museum regularly hosts various educational and cultural events.

On the territory of the museum there is a small cozy cafe where you can relax and a souvenir shop.
