Description of the attraction
The World War II Memorial Museum has a rich exhibition dedicated to this major event in modern history. Most of the exhibits tell about the battles of 1940 and the German occupation of the region in 1940-45. The museum exhibits tell about the struggle at sea, land and air of the countries participating in the battles - England, France, Poland, Germany and Norway.
In the museum you will see photographs, weapons, uniforms and other military items, including the cipher machine of the German navy. Most of the exhibits are in Norwegian, but the Memorial Museum also has descriptions in English.
