Description of the attraction

The Museum of Family Professions is a unique museum of its kind, founded by the honored journalist of Ukraine Roman Fabrika. The museum is located in the courtyard of the House of Journalists in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The author of the idea, as well as the founder of the museum, is Pan Roman himself. Under one roof, he collected the trappings of various professions that his family members have been engaged in for more than 120 years. And the list of professions is impressive - these are beekeepers, blacksmiths, doctors, builders, musicians, geologists and many others. In the museum you can find original household items, household utensils. Pan Roman personally collected, restored and restored authentic objects of labor - a plow, a harrow, blacksmith's tools, a spinning wheel, and pottery. There is also an old device for roasting coffee beans in the collection.

The museum also boasts valuable exhibits that were donated to the author. Thus, one of the first "benefactors" was a sixth grader from a local school, who brought his great-grandmother's wallet to the museum. And the mayor of the city Viktor Anushkevichus presented an old iron iron, which dates back to the end of the nineteenth century.

The museum has intertwined the past and the present, for example, next to one of the first typewriters is a modern mobile phone, and a white and blue inkwell is adjacent to modern ballpoint pens. According to the author, the purpose of the museum is to preserve the heritage of the past for future generations.
