Description of the attraction

The Gothic Cathedral of St. Petra is located in the city center. This main city church was built in the German Gothic style, as many German merchants have long settled in Malmö. Fragments of 15th century frescoes have survived in the church, which were almost completely destroyed by Protestants in the middle of the 16th century. The altar of the church, dating from 1611, is one of the largest in Northern Europe.

A stunning organ can be heard in the cathedral. The acoustics are great. It seems, on Wednesdays … There is still something like a book of visitors … in different languages people ask for help, thank, just express their thoughts …

The temple is wonderful … there is no pathos, everything is very simple, but amazing !!!!!
