Description of the attraction

Moscow Drama Theater. KS Stanislavsky is located in the center of Moscow, on Tverskaya Street. It was opened in 1948. The theater was organized on the basis of KS Stanislavsky's opera and drama studio. The studio was founded in 1935, based on the decision of the Soviet government. The leading actors of that time took part in organizing the studio: Knipper - Chekhova, Moskvin, Lilina, Kachalov, Kedrov, Leonidov, Podgorny and others. His play "Heart of a Dog" based on Bulgakov is still in the theater's repertoire. In 2011, People's Artist of Russia Valery Belyakovich became the artistic director of the famous theater.
