By plane to Israel
You can get to the territory of the State of Israel in different ways: by air; on water; overland. It is impossible to talk about direct water communication between Israel and Russia. Ferries to Israel depart from Ukraine, Egypt, Greece and Cyprus. The cost of tickets is high, and it is very difficult to buy them. By land, Israel can be entered from the direction of Jordan and Egypt, which again requires special costs. There remains one proven way to Israel - through the sky.
From two Moscow airports - Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo - planes of the El Al, Aeroflot and Ural Airlines companies fly to Tel Aviv and Eilat. Israel and Russia are separated by 4 hours of flight. Airplanes leave for Tel Aviv every day, and for Eilat, or rather, to Ovda international airport, only twice a week.
You can get from St. Petersburg directly to Tel Aviv airport by Aeroflot transport. The flight will take more than 5 hours. There are also flights with one connection in Moscow or Riga. They are offered by the carriers Aeroflot, AirBaltic, S7 and El Al.
There are no direct flights from the northern capital of Russia to Eilat. You will have to fly to the famous resort near the Red Sea with two or even three transfers. Therefore, the easiest way is to organize a trip to Eilat, and then to the Dead Sea via Moscow.
