Bulgaria has no serious competitors in the tourism business in its immediate surroundings. Romanian resorts are still very far from the level of comfort offered by the southern neighbor, the number of attractions, historical monuments and modern cultural projects. And campgrounds in Romania are still difficult to compare with Bulgarian ones, although it would seem that there are no simpler places for foreign travelers to rest.

The general patterns of the placement of tourist complexes on the Romanian territory are closer to the sea coast and beautiful corners of nature. In addition to the beautiful location, Romanian campsites have one more advantage - low prices for vacations.

Camping in the coastal zone in Romania

The country is lucky, since it has access to the Black Sea, and therefore the rating rises, in the opinion of potential tourists. On the Romanian coast, there are many resort towns, small villages; there are also campgrounds in the vicinity, for example, Dolphin, which is located in the so-called Danube Delta, on the territory of a famous reserve. It is only two kilometers from the seashore, which means that the guests have a choice: to take a trip to the sea and enjoy magnificent views; stay at the campsite and have a wonderful time on the river beach.

Other entertainment options at this campsite include an open-air cinema. Guests are accommodated in bungalows with the required minimum of furniture, two shared bathrooms are on the territory plus additional showers (they are installed in the open air). Meals are organized at a decent level - food and drinks are offered by a restaurant, a bar, an open terrace with beautiful views is intended for eating.

Far from and near civilization

Many people dream of being a part of nature, being away from society, Romanian campgrounds are ready to help with this. For example, settling in the La Rulote complex, guests will find themselves at a decent distance from cities and towns. You can settle down for rest in caravans with sleeping places, and leave your car in a free parking lot. Entertainment - darts and walking.

Other tourists are not ready to leave civilization so immediately, they would like to have at least a tiny village or town in sight. For this category of travelers, camping Eldorado is suitable, the territory of which belongs to the village of Jilau. Rest in this complex takes place in more comfortable conditions, as there is an opportunity to choose apartments or bungalows for living. Inhabitants of the first category of housing have their own bathrooms equipped with a shower, living in bungalows use shared bathrooms. Free parking is available for cars on site.

A characteristic feature of this camping is the presence of a seasonal restaurant, which closes during the low season, guests cook on their own using mini-kitchens and available household appliances. One more point should be paid attention to - the camping is, so to speak, surrounded by historical monuments and natural attractions, so the cultural program, if desired, will be rich and memorable. A few kilometers from the base there is a medieval castle complex, the mountain range that gave the name to the village - Jilau, and the lake of the same name.

The results of the comparison between the campsites in Bulgaria and Romania show that the Bulgarian tourist complexes are one step ahead. But their Romanian “colleagues” have their advantages - beautiful natural landscapes and relatively low prices. Therefore, there are no shortages of vacationers in the high season.
