Hearing an offer to go to one of the Slovak resorts, many travelers frown their noses with displeasure. In their opinion, neighboring Czech Republic has many more sights, monuments and beautiful landscapes. But they are wrong, because the countries are located nearby, the climatic conditions are identical, there are no less idyllic pictures of nature. Moreover, campsites in Slovakia are in no way inferior to their Czech neighbors.

Camping in Slovakia - European standards

Slovakia is known for its geothermal springs, many of which have led to the emergence and development of resort villages, as well as tourist centers. One of them is AA Karavany Piešťany, named after the nearby town of Piestany. Quite comfortable caravans (on wheels) are offered to accommodate guests.

Each dwelling has a small kitchen to satisfy the demands of the unpretentious tourist. In addition to the kitchen and dining area, there are living rooms, bathrooms with showers. The TV acts as a pleasant bonus to your rest. There is a restaurant not far from the base, so you can refuse to cook on your own, go to the tasting of national Slovak dishes. The houses are set in a beautiful garden, lovely landscapes are provided, as is the barbecue area. From entertainment - hiking and trips in the surrounding area, you can rent the following types of transport: bicycles; cars; SUVs.

Hiking and hiking are popular, and in winter skiing becomes the favorite pastime, since the local landscapes allow you to do this. A little further from the campsite there are several medieval castles, a golf club, spa centers that allow you to enjoy both body and soul.

Slovak campsites - sports and recreation

The highlight of many campsites in Slovakia is a convenient location, on the one hand, the houses are surrounded by mountain landscapes of stunning beauty, and tourists enjoy peace and solitude. On the other hand, you can find a city or a village not far from any complex. The town of Cherveny-Klashtor "sheltered" one of these tourist complexes, which has a fairly simple but deeply symbolic name - Karavan.

Caravans are designed for a different number of travelers, they are comfortable, convenient, and at the same time very compact. In addition to sleeping places, there are dining and kitchen areas, household appliances, for example, mini-refrigerators. A restaurant operating on the campground helps to solve the problem of cooking for a male company or a lazy tourist.

This complex offers a variety of entertainment, including sports, cultural, educational. Since the campsite is located on the shore, there are opportunities for various water sports - fishing, swimming, canoeing. Bicycles are popular, walking around the surroundings, trips to towns and villages with funny names, such as Krynica-Zdroj or Bukovina-Tatrzanska. Cultural rest is associated with a visit to the national park, located four kilometers away. A little further there are castle complexes of different levels of preservation, ski resorts with equipped slopes.

The level of campsites in Slovakia is quite comparable to that offered by neighboring countries. Nice houses, pleasant surroundings, a well-thought-out system of organizing accommodation and meals, great opportunities for sports, ecological and cultural tourism. All this allows the owners of Slovak tourist complexes to look to the future with confidence.
