Israeli resorts located on the Red and Dead Seas attract tourists in many ways. This includes tanning, water procedures, health improvement, and rich cultural programs. There is one "but" - the rest in this country is quite expensive. Therefore, campsites in Israel are especially popular, staying in them resembles immersion in ancient history.

The organization of such tourist complexes in Israel has its own differences from other countries of the world. Often on campgrounds, you can see huge sheds that can accommodate up to hundreds of guests at once. Therefore, those travelers who dream of solitude need to look for other vacation options or other countries.

Camping in Israel - near the sea

Israeli campgrounds located on the coast deserve close attention, for example, Eilat, which is a complex of mobile homes. It is located next to the Migdal beach, which is known in the country and abroad as one of the important centers for diving and snorkeling.

All the conditions for a comfortable stay are created in the houses for tourists, given the hot climatic conditions in summer, the living quarters are equipped with air conditioning. Each house has a kitchen that removes the issue of catering. Nearby, in the open air, but in the shade of trees, there are recreation areas. In addition to spending time on the beach, guests can go on an excursion to the city of Eilat, located at a distance of eight kilometers from the camping. Both children and adults will be interested in visiting the "Underwater Observatory", a huge oceanarium introducing the inhabitants of the local kingdom of Neptune. Another natural attraction is located two kilometers from the tourist complex - the Coral Beach Reserve.

Breath of the desert

The second most popular camping option in Israel is the desert complexes. One of them - Incense and Spice Route Inn - invites guests to get acquainted with the culture of the Bedouins, the indigenous inhabitants of these lands. To accommodate visitors, tents are used, reminiscent of old Bedouin dwellings, however, modern counterparts are heated, this is important, since in the evening the desert gets quite cold. For lovers of secluded relaxation, rooms for one or two people are offered.

This is not to say that rest is far from civilization, there are mattresses, you can rent comfortable sleeping bags. The awnings have lighting, a common dining area, a cooking area, and a bathroom. Interestingly, the Bedouin theme continues in the food system - breakfast is served in the style of ancient nomads. It includes the following dishes: boiled chicken; boiled rice; fresh vegetable salads; the traditional dish is hummus.

The on-site shop sells drinks, sweets, the most popular are lollipops that help quench your thirst. Entertainment - walks in the desert, riding camels and donkeys, visiting a crocodile farm. Many tourists prefer to spend time in a spa bath filled with thermal water. Many guests of this Israeli camp point out that it has the best value for money.

Camping sites in Israel, on the one hand, are similar to those that can be seen in any country in the world, on the other hand, they have their own fundamental differences. Some of them are located in the coastal zone, some, on the contrary, "hide" in the desert. Rest in many tourist complexes literally introduces the Bedouin way of life, this concerns accommodation, food and entertainment.
