Interesting places in Brussels - the Town Hall, the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula, the Abbey of Cambri and other objects, will meet tourists in the process of getting to know the capital of Belgium.
Unusual sights of Brussels
- Atomium: a 102-meter model of a part of the crystal lattice of iron - a haven for rooms where exhibitions, mini-hotels, restaurants and an observation deck are held (from there, everyone will be able to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the city). The structure consists of 9 spheres, but only 6 are available for visiting, which can be reached through connecting corridors, by elevator or escalator.
- Manneken Pis Fountain: From time to time, the naked boy is dressed up in different costumes (the costumes are changed to the sounds of a brass band; a collection of more than 800 outfits is presented in the Royal Museum), and on holidays the fountain is often not water, but beer or wine.
- Allen Sesha's “Cyclist”: This striking polyester and metal monument depicts a girl with a cat's head riding a bicycle.
What interesting places to visit?
Vacationers in the capital of Belgium will be interested in visiting the Autoworld Museum (guests are offered to look at vintage cars, among which the Bugatti of 1830 and the pre-war Imperia and Minerva cars deserve special attention; and in the souvenir shop everyone can get miniature car models) and “Scientist”(its visitors become participants in interactive experiments using sounds, smells, light and touch).
On Saturdays and Sundays, it makes sense to visit the antique market on Grand Sablon Square - everyone will have a chance to become the owner of paintings, tableware, jewelry and other antiques.
Visitors to the Mini-Europe park will see and record in photographs about 350 buildings of 80 cities in miniature. Of particular interest are moving and animation models (floating Venetian gondolas, the eruption of Vesuvius, the destruction of the Berlin Wall).
Tourists should pay attention to the Viage entertainment complex - it will delight them with its restaurant, casino, theater, meeting room, sports and cocktail bar.
For water activities, head to the Oceade Water Park (for directions, see www.oceade.be): it pampers its guests with Saunaland (jacuzzi, saunas, hammam, pearl and ice baths; the area is exclusively for adults), solarium, suspension bridge, swimming pools (the most popular is the Caribbean Sea with 3 types of waves; a real storm occurs once an hour), a restaurant complex, snack machines, water slides (Cameleon, Barracuda, Salto Angel, Anaconda, Ouragon), Aquafun House (area for children from 4 years old), Tortuga Slide (mini water slides).
