Many Russians want to go on excursions in Belarus; such a trip is very attractive for its accessibility. The capital of the Republic of Belarus is ten hours drive from Moscow. This destination is considered to be just ideal in order to spend here a two- or three-day sightseeing trip. You can stay for a longer time, for example, in a sanatorium.

Belarus took on almost the main blow in the Second World War, so there are many monuments of military glory here. And also - stunning national parks. You should definitely visit Minsk itself. Perhaps this city is not as pompous as many European capitals, but one must remember that Minsk suffered an incredibly difficult fate, but it managed to withstand, revive, strengthen, so today it pleases tourists with neat streets. And what hospitable locals are here!

It would be unforgivable to ignore Brest. This city does not at all need to be specially represented. His name is known almost all over the world. Its dramatic story is carved with bullets on the walls of the legendary Brest Fortress.

Sightseeing tours in Minsk and its surroundings

It is best to start your first meeting with Belarus with a sightseeing tour of the capital. It will last approximately three to four hours. During this time you will be able to see all the main sights of Minsk. But it is much more interesting to find out about what you can visit from the capital during such a guided walk. For example, everyone is advised to visit the Mir Castle. In addition, tourists often visit Nesvizh.

Bialowieza Forest

The third place in popularity among tourists is an excursion to Belovezhskaya Pushcha, to the legendary bison. Since ancient times, Belovezhskaya Pushcha has been famous as a unique natural complex in Europe. From the 14th century, Polish kings hunted here, and from the end of the 18th century - the royal family of Russia and the close nobility. Today it is a huge reserve where the bison population is being restored. And also a place covered with ancient legends of the Middle Ages.

But it would be interesting to visit the village of Zhodishki, where a water mill still works, and not for the first century, which is at the same time a museum. It is not the most popular excursion destination, but it is quite attractive and cute.

Manor Dukorsky maentak

A visit to Dukorsky maentak will not leave anyone indifferent. A tour of the old manor will enchant anyone. Tourists will be able to see and even touch ancient household items, climb to the very top of a high gate, touch the bark of a 400-year-old oak tree.

You will not forget a walk along the Street of Masters of Dukora - here both the past and the present are delightfully intertwined. In small workshops, guests will be able to see old pottery, graceful creations of a master of candlesticks, amazing works of a Belarusian embroidery craftswoman, see the hard and hard work of a master blacksmith, and even help the master mint coins.

Kids here will be happy to walk between magical houses, where their favorite characters will tell them different folk tales in colors. And little fidgets should definitely try their hand at the rope town, passing obstacles one after another.

The most interesting and enchanting object in the Dukorsky maentka, of course, is considered to be an inverted house, which is located upside down here. Guests of the estate will be able to walk on the ceiling and be surprised at the revolution in their ideas about the household.

Bobruisk

And here you can visit an informative sightseeing tour of one of the oldest cities in Belarus, the largest industrial and cultural center of the Mogilev region and the entire republic. Its history is fascinating and interesting.

Bobruisk Fortress is a monument of military art of the first half of the 19th century. You will be able to see the remains of the once mighty fortification built to protect the western borders of the Russian Empire under the leadership of Karl Opperman. In those days, the Bobruisk fortress was considered one of the best, as it was created according to the latest standards of European fortification art. Thousands of soldiers and serfs of the Mogilev, Minsk and Chernigov provinces took part in its construction. Building materials for this construction site were brought from Ukraine, Karelia, the Caucasus, and the Urals.
