When planning to travel to China, you need to learn as much as possible about this country. Indeed, despite the fact that most tourists have fragmentary knowledge about it, some national characteristics of China remain a mystery.

Communication

The Chinese are very friendly people. They just love to communicate, so you should not be surprised at the strong attention to your person.

The Chinese greet each other with a nod of their heads, but the appeal to "you" is not accepted here, except for the elderly. At the same time, politeness and punctuality are of great importance. The Chinese are very fond of inviting guests, but you should come to them with a gift, especially if the owners have small children.

Kitchen

The basis of all Chinese dishes is rice. Most often, the dish will be very spicy; pork is also popular with the Chinese. As in many oriental countries, chopsticks are the cutlery in China. Traditional Chinese food: chicken gongpao; Peking duck; funchose; noodle soups.

Interesting features

  • In China, it is not customary to let people out of public transport before entering it, so there is a constant crush. There are no queues in this country either - whoever has time is the first.
  • There are many poor and, accordingly, rich, but there is no territorial division between them. They all peacefully exist next to each other and you can often see a luxurious skyscraper among ordinary houses.
  • There are a huge number of factories and factories in China. They filled almost the entire space, leaving almost nothing to nature. Each owner of such a company is a millionaire, while thousands of workers work for a meager wage.
  • Chinese restaurants are never closed, and even at night you can see several dozen visitors. This is due not only to the size of the population, but also to the fact that food is a hobby for the Chinese. There are a lot of all kinds of establishments, and at every step there is also a variety of local fast food, which is simply impossible to pass by.
  • There are a lot of cyclists and motorcyclists in China, much more than motorists. This makes movement very difficult. Foreigners do not understand at all what rules the Chinese use, and how they manage to calmly react to rudeness and overtaking. It is also not customary to drive fast, so, probably, there are practically no accidents here. But it is customary to constantly rebuild. All Chinese roads are toll and are divided into two types: regular and budget. The only thing that can be said is that in this case it is better not to save.
