More than four million tourists fly to the beaches of the Dominican Republic every year. Located in the eastern part of the island of Haiti, this country like a magnet attracts travelers with its white beaches, framed by emerald green palm trees, and warm sea of all shades of turquoise. History with geography
Europeans first set foot on the island at the end of the 15th century. It was the crew of the schooner Christopher Columbus, who was looking for new lands in this part of the Atlantic. Towards the end of summer, showers become less frequent, but hurricanes are more likely.
