In addition, they have a registration number, a hologram with a license number, and a tariff plate on the rear right door.

Taxi services in Warsaw

“Catching” a car on the street will not work - the drivers simply will not stop. You can take a taxi at specialized taxi ranks (look for them near the airport, train station, hotels, popular attractions) or call them by phone.

Official taxis in Warsaw are represented by the following taxi companies: City Warsaw: 194-59; Bayer Taxi: 22-196-67; Prestige Taxi (cars of this company are equipped with payment terminals, therefore, if desired, payment can be made with payment cards): + 48-22-86-666-66; Express Taxi: 196-63 (call by sms: 723-0-196-63). It is worth noting that some companies give their customers a 10% discount if they call a taxi by phone.

Important: on arrival, near the terminal, you can meet men with badges who are always ready to hail a taxi for you - it is not recommended to use their services, since the cost of the trip may ultimately cost several times more than the officially established tariffs.
