Austin is another major city in the south of the United States: such sights as the Presidential Library, the University Tower (you can climb to the observation deck), the Blanton Art Museum, the Neil Cochran House, and the Lyndon Johnson Museum deserve attention here.
As for fans of event tourism, they should be advised to come here in January-February for the Festival of Performing Arts, in March for the Chocolate Festival, and in April to see the boat race on Lady Bird Lake.
