Description of the attraction

One of the most famous and most visited waterfall cascades in the Carpathians is the Silver Waterfalls in Sheshory. This picturesque place is located almost in the very center of the village.

The complex of waterfalls of the Pistyn river is divided into two groups - the Maliy Guk waterfall and the Bolshoi Guk waterfall. Sheshorsky waterfall Bolshoy Guk is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Carpathians. Its area is about 0.5 hectares. Falling down from a five-meter height and hitting rocky boulders and ledges, the crystal clear waters of the Big Hook form a huge cloud of water dust, and their roar makes the rocks themselves shudder, blocking the path of the river. Small Sheshorsky Guk is three meters high and is no less impressive sight.

It got its name "Huk" because of the roar and rumble standing in the valley of the Pistyn river, and they are called silvery because the water shines and shimmers very beautifully under the bright rays of the sun. The silvery waterfalls in Sheshory are a truly amazing natural scene. No wonder they have become a place for filming music videos and feature films more than once.

Having visited this fabulous place, you can not only get the aesthetic pleasure of the landscapes you see, but also try all the charm of the natural jacuzzi, swimming in the warmest waters of the river, which warm up to 25 degrees in summer.

Above the Silver Falls there are sanatoriums and a tourist base of the same name. Nearby there are mineral springs, and the unique views of the Carpathians towering around the peaks and the delightful mountain air make swimming in the waterfalls even more unforgettable.

The silvery waterfalls in the village of Sheshory are one of the attractions of this amazing land, which tourists come to see from all over Ukraine and even from abroad.
