Description of the attraction
The Museum of Entertaining Sciences "Experimentarium" is located on Butyrskaya Street. It opened on March 6, 2011. This is a science and entertainment center. It was created to study the phenomena of the world around us and the laws of science. This is a kind of scientific attraction. It makes it possible for an accessible, interesting, direct participation in experiments and experiments, as well as other cognitive activities.
The "Experimentarium" has more than 300 interactive exhibits that tell interesting and accessible about mechanics, magnetism, electricity, acoustics. The exposition of the museum clearly and interestingly demonstrates optical illusions and other effects. Everything here is intended to prove that science is very interesting. Visitors are offered an excursion "A fascinating journey into the world of science and its history", as well as a variety of lectures and master classes, interactive science games, scientific and entertainment shows.
In October 2012, the Experimentarium Museum took part in the All-Russian Science Festival 2012 for the second time. The stand at Expocentre has become a miniature museum. The most popular exhibits from the museum collection were presented there.
The "Experimentarium" is testing the Audioguide system. Any visitor can take part in this and get even more interesting information during an independent tour of the museum. Various competitions are held here. So, together with Google, the Google Lunar XPRIZE competition was held, as well as the Inventing the Future competition.
The museum also takes an active part in interesting outdoor events.
