Description of the attraction

Sidari is a picturesque resort town on the northern coast of the Greek island of Corfu (Kerkyra), located about 45 km from the administrative center of the island and the airport of the same name.

Back in the early 80s of the 20th century, just a small fishing village, today Sidari is one of the most popular resorts on the island with magnificent sandy beaches, picturesque bays and well-developed infrastructure. In Sidari you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay - excellent hotels and cozy apartments, shops, a market, a wide variety of restaurants, taverns and cafes where you can taste both traditional Greek cuisine and Italian, Mexican, Indian and British cuisine and, of course the same night clubs and bars working until the morning.

Fans of active recreation can go sailing, diving and horse riding in Sidari, paragliding, water skiing, banana boat and quad biking, play football, tennis and bowling. You can also rent a boat and go on a short sea trip along the coast, visit the city of Corfu, as well as the Monastery of the Virgin Mary and the Fortress of Angelokastro in Paleokastritsa, climb Mount Pantokrator, from the top of which breathtaking panoramic views open not only of the island, but also of neighboring Albania, and much more.

The famous bays of Sidari, created by nature as a result of sandstone erosion, and its main pearl, the "Channel of Love", undoubtedly deserve special attention. A long-standing tradition says that lovers who, holding hands, can sail this channel, will never part.

Despite the fact that Sidari is more of a youth resort, it is especially popular with families with children, as the sea here is warm and relatively shallow.
