Description of the attraction
Foy Lake is a man-made reservoir in Chittagong. It was formed in 1924 after the construction of the dam and was named after one of the partners who built the railway. The main purpose of creating a water reservoir was to provide residents of the district with fresh water. The lake is located next to Batali Hill, the highest hill in Chittagong province, and is famous for its incredible beauty, thanks to the successful synthesis of the surrounding hills and calm waters.
Currently, here, in the very center of Chittagong, on Lake Foy, there is the Foy World theme park. The entertainment centers of Lake Foy are located in a picturesque area, surrounded by hills, lakes and green forests, in Pahartoli, and occupy about 129, 50 hectares of land.
Chittagong is considered the most beautiful and developed region of the country due to the good combination of urban infrastructure and natural beauty of the sea, mountains, rivers, forests and valleys.
Fun World consists of a pedestrian park with regular attractions and a theme park, and also offers boat rides on the lake, forest walks, restaurants, water concerts, scenic hiking trails and more.
Comfortable resort hotels have been built for the guests of the country, from which it is convenient to make pedestrian crossings in the park.
