Description of the attraction

The Amusement Park "Italy in Miniature" is one of the most unusual theme parks located in the resort town of Rimini and acquaints visitors with the unique historical, architectural and cultural heritage of Italy. Only here you can walk around the entire "Italian boot" in a couple of hours and see all the main attractions of the country.

The park was founded in 1970, and since then it has been visited by about half a million tourists annually. On its territory there are 270 reproductions of architectural wonders "Bel Paese", as Italy is called in Europe, created with the utmost precision and care. And there are also over five thousand miniature trees that reproduce the flora of the country and give the park a special appeal.

In 2011, the year of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the national flag was raised every day in the park. On the same occasion, ten new training routes have been developed, telling about the Renaissance and the era of Risorgimento - the unification of the country. In addition, new sections were opened: Pappamondo with colorful tropical parrots macaw and cockatoo and YouMini, in which you can create a 3D model of yourself in miniature using a laser scanner, and then cast it using aluminum powder and nylon.

Various attractions of the park can satisfy the tastes of the most discerning public. Kids will love the interactive diving school where they can learn about safe diving techniques and even get a real diver's license. Those who like to make discoveries and study the secrets of our world should visit the Science Fun Fair, where there is an interactive laboratory. And if you are an adventurer, there is a direct road to canoeing or jumping on the “Sling Shot” with a height of 55 meters! A 1: 3 scale reproduction of the Malatesta fortress, Cannonacqua is a real water battle involving a dozen water cannons to ward off a medieval attack. In the park, you can also "sail" on a gondola along the Grand Canal of Venice and meet Casanova in St. Mark's Square. It is the reproduction of Venice on a scale of 1: 5 that is one of the most popular in Italy in Miniature.
