The story was set at the border control at Pulkovo airport. A handsome young man gave his passport to a bald border guard. The photo in the document caused bewilderment among the government official. On it he saw a bald man of his age. The border guard was puzzled. The handsome young passport holder bore a distant resemblance to the man in the photograph. The guy in front of him was clearly younger and had great thick hair, no baldness. No matter how much the passenger tries to explain how it happened: “It's me! I made my hair! They transplanted me in the clinic. From here they took over here and transplanted. This is my own hair! The gloomy border guard did not believe him. And the plane left without a passenger. And in the final, everyone's favorite phrase sounded: “And you, bald, I won't tell you the phone!”.
Do you remember this story from the 90s shown in a TV commercial?
How the script for the legendary video came about
At that time, it seemed incredible that it was possible to radically change your appearance by transplanting your own hair into the bald spot. The service itself, although it was well known in the world, and many movie stars were easily transformed in one procedure, but in post-Soviet Russia no one knew about this opportunity.
And now, the owner of the Real Trans Hair brand brings to Russia an original hair restoration technology. And right after that he meets the best advertising duet in Moscow, where a beautiful story about the airport is born almost at once!
In those years, Timur Bekmambetov worked on the plot of the videos in collaboration with copywriter Vladimir Perepelkin, who had a special view of things and the sparkling humor of KVNschik. Perhaps this is what helped the vivid phrases to remain in the memory of several generations, which everyone has heard: "Tanks are not afraid of dirt", "Until the first star", "And you, bald, I will not tell the phone."
Vladimir Perepelkin recalled the creation of the script in the following way: “The idea for the Real Trans Hair video was born suddenly. At that time, businessmen often came themselves to the first meeting with the director's team, and it was held in their own way, not at the negotiating table or in a famous restaurant, but somewhere in an art workshop. Often everyone who "jumped on the light" took part in the brainstorm, so you could quickly test your idea, and even get additional ideas. I came up with this idea when the customer was just introducing himself. I listened to him and offered my idea only after 3 days, because no one pays for ideas that arise immediately, especially in Russia. And in general, they don't like to pay for ideas."
It seems that the video filmed the most ordinary life situation, and even at the airport, but in the hands of Vladimir Perepelkin and Timur Bekmambetov, so much real good humor was invested in it, so it all reminded of the satirical traditions of the television magazines Yeralash and Fitil, that the story about hair transplant came to the liking of millions of viewers.
The video has become the most cited since the 90s, and the phrase "And you, bald, I won't tell you the phone" invariably brings a smile.
