- The closest airport to Golden Sands is located in Varna. You can get to the city from the passenger terminal by regular bus route N409, having bought a ticket from the conductor for 1.5 euros. A taxi will cost an order of magnitude more.
- S7 and NordStar Airlines fly from the Russian capital to Varna directly and cheaper than others. Seasonal ticket prices start at 200 euros. The flight takes about 3, 5 hours. Charter flights are cheaper, but tickets for them can usually only be purchased as a package with a tour.
- The beach season in Golden Sands begins at the end of May, when the air and water warms up to a stable + 26 ° С and + 18 ° С, respectively. The local climate allows you to sunbathe and swim in comfort until mid-October.
When choosing a hotel, pay attention to the relief of the popular resort in Bulgaria. The city descends to the sea with ledges, and therefore hotels farther from the beach are built at a height. If you are not too fond of climbing a hill in the sun, choose a hotel on the first coastline.
The price of a room in a standard three-star hotel in Golden Sands is about 30-35 euros per day. For a night in the "five" you will have to pay 80-90 euros. - The beach season in the popular Bulgarian resort begins at the end of May. In the middle of summer, in the afternoon, water and air warm up to + 24 ° С and + 32 ° С, respectively. You can swim and sunbathe in Sunny Beach until mid-October.
Resort hotels represent every possible variety of resort accommodation. Firstly, there are hostels and guest houses in Sunny Beach, where a double room per night will cost only 15 euros. It is beneficial to rent the whole house if you are relaxing with a large company or family.
