The legendary Borjomi mineral water occupies the first position in the lists of export goods of Georgia. It is named after the town where the springs are located and this place on the map of the republic is well known to all connoisseurs of Georgian nature.
The resort is located in the gorge of the Kura River at an altitude of more than 800 meters above sea level. Its microclimate is unique and inimitable, and the weather in Borjomi is characterized by moderate air temperatures at any time of the year. The Museum of Local Lore carefully preserves an exposition about the past and present of Borjomi, a city where royal persons, representatives of bohemians, and grand dukes stayed. In the Borjomi-Kharaguli National Park, you will be offered hiking or horseback riding.
Lovers of Georgian cuisine usually book resort hotels and guest houses in the fall, when the locals celebrate the Borjomob holiday. On the day of the city, on the streets you can meet artists and musicians, folk groups and male choirs.
