Where to go in Vietnam in November? This issue should be carefully studied before the trip in order to avoid unpleasant surprises while vacationing in this country at the end of autumn.
Holidays in Vietnam in November
In November, different weather conditions prevail in Vietnamese resorts. So, in the northern provinces, the swimming season is gradually coming to an end, and on average, the thermometer shows from + 17˚C to + 23˚C, although the bright sun can “catch up” and +25 heat. Nevertheless, there is little rainfall in the north at the end of the calendar autumn (5-7 days per month), which is conducive to viewing natural creations and architectural masterpieces.
November is not the best time to visit the resorts of the central regions - Da Nang and Hoi An because of the often destructive winds and heavy rainfalls attacking them (they often cause floods). But in between the riot of the elements, when nothing interferes with taking sea baths, at noon the air warms up to + 27-28˚C, and evenings remain warm (+ 21-23˚C).
As for the south of Vietnam, real summer reigns here in November - in Mui Ne you can expect + 29˚C, and after sunset at least + 23˚C. But here, too, the rest can be overshadowed by episodic intense precipitation. Tourists should prepare: visiting typhoons can become uninvited guests.
Phu Quoc Island, Vung Tau and Phan Thiet resorts (air temperature + 32˚C) can boast the greatest stability and dry weather in the last autumn month.
Are you planning to start surfing? Head for Mui Ne, Phan Thiet or Phu Quoc, where the diving season kicks off in November.
Those who want to improve their health will be awaited in Thap Ba mud baths in Nha Trang: mud baths, Charcot's showers, jacuzzi, pools with mineral water (cool and warm) are available to visitors.
If they are lucky, travelers will be able to attend the Ok Om Bok Vos festival in Shocktrang: the holiday is dedicated to the spirits of the moon and the river - the people ask them for the prosperity of the country, health for themselves and their relatives, a rich catch and a plentiful harvest of rice. Within the framework of the festival, competitions are organized in which rowers on junks take part.
Phu Quoc
In November, the dry season starts on Phu Quoc Island, and the water warms up to + 27˚C.
The main sights of Fukuoka: Suoi Chan waterfall (although its waters rush down from only a 2-meter height, it attracts numerous travelers, since it is surrounded by strange plants and birds), So Muon Pagoda (interesting with Buddha statues and small ponds with lotuses), Khao Temple Dai (in the sanctuary where Caodaism is practiced, there is an altar in the form of a huge globe, in the middle of which there is an eye), the Koi Nguon Museum (photographs, ceramic, bronze and stone tools, animal skeletons and other exhibits will tell visitors about the history of the island), Kau Palace (reminiscent of both a temple and a lighthouse, where fishermen come to pray to their gods; before those who climb to the top of the cliff, a wonderful panorama of local landscapes will open), Pearl Farm (visitors will be shown the process of growing pearls and offered to acquire pearl jewelry and cosmetics with pearl extract).
Phu Quoc is a haven for divers: beginners should take a closer look at the northern coast (depth - no more than 10 m; when diving, they will be able to meet colorful underwater inhabitants, rock formations and coral colonies), and more advanced divers - to the southern coast (they will find at least 20 dive sites with a diving depth of 10-40 m).
Fukuoka beaches:
- Long Beach: vacationers are attracted here by light yellow sand, which is regularly cleaned, a gentle entrance into the water, Vietnamese restaurants, sea animals (you can go snorkeling), beautiful sunsets.
- Ong Lang: Guests can enjoy water sports or boat trips to the neighboring islands.
- Vung Bau: Here, surrounded by picturesque landscapes and white sand, lovers of a serene pastime will find refuge.
Hanoi
In November, in Hanoi, it is recommended to inspect the Hanoi citadel (tourists are shown what was found during excavations - monuments, houses, columns, wells, etc.), the Chang Quoc Pagoda (is a 15-meter stupa, which consists of 11 floors, on each of which a statue of Buddha is installed; valuable statues and ancient steles are kept in the pagoda, surrounded by a large garden), the temple of literature (has 82 steles, 5 courtyards, Giam park and the building where the drum and bell are located), visit the Opera House (everyone should visit the premiere operas and musicals Vietnamese composers), go to the Lake of the Returned Sword (the lake has 2 islands on which there are several buildings - the Temple of the Jade Mountain, the Bridge of the Rising Sun and the Turtle Tower), relax in the Santal Spa (from the procedures, massages are available, including the use of warm stones, aromatherapy, silk scrub, foot whirlpool).
