Not every tourist dares to get to the easternmost city of the Russian Federation. But if you have already managed to get there, then walking around Vladivostok, the largest port-city, will not leave anyone indifferent and indifferent. It is interesting that the city is the end point of the famous Trans-Siberian Railway, and its beginning in Moscow, and so, the cities are united not only by the railway, but also by the stations, each of which is built in the pseudo-Russian style.

The Vladivostok Fortress occupies an honorable place in the list of city attractions. Today it is a complex of fortifications that were once intended for the defense of the city. The fortress occupies the mainland of the city, separate forts, batteries are located on the islands, many of the objects are open for visits by citizens and guests.
It is unforgivable for a tourist to visit Vladivostok and not look at it from a height. Especially for this, several viewing platforms have been organized in the city, revealing the most beautiful panoramic views to the guests. One of the points is located on the Eagle's Nest hill, despite the name, this natural object is located in the very heart of the city. The same beautiful landscapes can be seen at Mayak (Egelskheld region), Cape Churkin, from the Ferris wheel.
The main city treasures and artifacts are kept in local museums, visiting these institutions is on the list of any cultural traveler visiting Vladivostok. Some of them are related to military history, the same Vladivostok Fortress, or the Military History Museum, where they will tell about the development of the Russian fleet in the Pacific Ocean. The acquaintance with the memorial museum located on the S-56 submarine evokes a special thrill.
