Unfortunately, so far Gomel cannot please its guests with the presence of a water park (despite the fact that a place for construction has already been determined - in the area of Mazurov Street, the authorities cannot find an investor), but they can visit the nearest water park - it is located in Zhlobin.

The water park has 2 zones:

  • The entertainment area is represented by an adult and a children's pool (for children there are 2 children's slides and a fountain "Mushroom"), a mountain river, waterfalls "Ostrov" and "Niagara", water spiral slide "Tobogan" (length - 73 m), jacuzzi, geysers, pearl and hydromassage baths;
  • The relaxation area is represented by massage rooms, saunas (Finnish, Turkish, Russian baths), solariums (vertical and horizontal).

In addition, on the territory of the complex, where the water park is located, guests will find the Laguna cafe, billiard tables, a hairdresser's, a computer room, a children's room, and a cinema. It should be noted that the water park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Cost of admission (the water park is open until 21:00, and tickets can be bought until 19:30): 0-5 years old - free; children 5-12 years old - 60,000 Belarusian rubles / 1.5 hours (92,000 rubles for 3 hours); adults and children from 12 years old - 65,000 rubles / 1.5 hours (100,000 rubles for 3 hours); family ticket (3 people) - 174,000 rubles / 1.5 hours (268,000 rubles for 3 hours). A visit to the saunas is paid separately: for example, for the stay of one of the saunas you piglets pay 320,000 rubles / 1.5 hours (780,000 rubles for 3 hours).

Water activities in Gomel

Those who wish can spend time in the “Volna” pool on one of the 4 lanes (and here you can also visit the sauna and take advantage of the wellness programs) or in the Water Sports Palace, which has 3 swimming pools, including a children's and a jumping one, a gym, a jacuzzi, a cedar barrel (and there are also aqua aerobics classes and competitions, including water polo and diving).

Tourists should definitely go on a 40-minute trip on a pleasure boat along the Sozh River (departure: pier at Kievsky Spusk).

Guests of the city are recommended to relax on the Gomel beach (there is a water rescue service, cafes and changing rooms are equipped, you can ride a catamaran or a boat), located opposite the Palace and Park Ensemble: active young people prefer to rest on its right side (they go in for sports on the uneven bars and horizontal bars, play football and volleyball on equipped playgrounds), and on the left side of the beach there are elderly people and families with children (calmer current + shallow shore).
