Prices for tours to Riga
The best time to travel to Riga is May-September. But it is worth considering that in June-August (the club and entertainment industry is working at full capacity), during the festivals, on New Year's and Christmas, tours to Riga increase by 20-40%. To save money, you can go to this Latvian city in the low season, which lasts from October to mid-December and from the end of January to mid-April (at this time, the democratic prices in restaurants, museums and galleries, spa-centers are encouraging).
On a note
You can buy anything you want on the Central Market (bargaining is appropriate). To save on transportation and other expenses, it is advisable to purchase RigaCard.
Since there are no big traffic jams in the city and there are quite a lot of parking places, you can travel around the city in a rented car (you must have an international driver's license and credit card). But if you wish, you can also rent a bicycle (you can use it to get to all city attractions).
Returning from Riga to your homeland, you should take Riga balsam, amber products, leather and knitted goods, porcelain, handicrafts (handmade baskets, designer forging items) with you as a souvenir.
