Bulgarian resorts can be roughly divided into noisy and quiet. The first group unconditionally includes Sunny Beach Bulgaria and Golden Sands, and the calm ones include Sveti Konstantin, Albena and Kranevo - there are not too many hotels, and at night vacationers prefer to gain strength rather than impressions. For those tourists who can't decide what kind of leisure they like, there is Sozopol - here a moderately quiet rest and night fun are harmoniously combined. Let's start from this point in more detail.

sunny Beach

Sunny Beach Bulgaria is the largest resort area, a holiday city, a dream city. According to young and active vacationers, Sunny Beach is a chic resort, a budget analogue of Ibiza and a branch of a beach paradise on Earth. Others consider it a sheer nightmare because of the myriad of hotels "occupying" not a dimensionless piece of land. How could it be otherwise in a city with the most eventful and varied nightlife? In the best Crimean traditions, there is nowhere to drop an apple on the beaches, besides, there are almost no trees near the sea. Nevertheless, the beach is awarded the Blue Flag for the cleanness of the sand and sea, and tourists with small children will appreciate the gentle entrance to the bathing area. And yet this place is not for children - it is very noisy here in the evenings! Let's leave the seething Sunny Beach of Bulgaria to "plunder" the youth, and we ourselves will find a quieter town.

Albena

It is better to go to Albena with the kids. There is a wide and long beach, a calm sea and a gently sloping entrance typical of Black Sea resorts. The town is green, with many playgrounds, two amusement parks and electric cars for rent. And both adults and children can steer. It is nice to stroll along the embankment, stop at a cozy cafe and dream about something of your own, delicate, admiring the sun sinking behind the horizon. The sand on the beach in Albena is sifted every morning, but the hotels are not very fashionable.

Golden Sands

Are you bored? Then we go to Golden Sands, which is not far from Albena. Golden Sands is a place with a varied nightlife. Those who have come here for fleeting resort love will be able to dive headlong into a fast-paced romance, those who are looking for a delicious dinner will find it in a restaurant, and someone will simply enjoy every day spent in the arms of the Black Sea. And the sand here really seems golden, although not the cleanest. In Golden Sands, you can take everything from your vacation - diving, water skiing, jumping, and various excursions, for example, to the Aladzha monastery or to Varna.

Kranevo

And again about a quiet, peaceful resort town. Kranevo - it is difficult to find a better place for a family vacation. The beach here is as wide as in Albena, but the prices are much more friendly. In fact, there is one drawback - boring … But if you are tired of beach idleness, go on an excursion to Cape Kaliakra or to the "summer capital" of Bulgaria - Varna.

Varna

People come here, as a rule, at the end of their vacation, when the sea no longer causes such violent emotions as in the first days. Varna is famous for its archaeological museum, in which the most ancient gold of the world is vigilantly guarded (such "things" in the boho or tribal style would be acutely relevant this season, if not for the historical value). In the center of Varna there is something to enrich spiritually: the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary warmed by the sun and prayers of parishioners, an opera house in the neo-baroque style, Knez Boris boulevard, drowning in chestnuts like Odessa or Kiev, the ruins of ancient Roman baths - for connoisseurs of hoary antiquity. Varna is changing - 20 years ago it had the image of a socialist city, now it accepts everything

more "European" look.

Sozopol

And finally, the promised Sozopol, the oldest Greek polis, which was built on the Black Sea coast. Favorite city of party-goers and musicians. Old Sozopol beckons travelers with stone-wooden two-storey huts, buried in rose bushes and cobblestone alleys. Modern attractions are traditional for the resort Riviera - the embankment for the demonstration of evening dresses, the park and, of course, the sea. But Sozopol also has its own trump card - on the western shore of the bay there is a surfing school and a camping for extreme resort-seekers.

The palette of cities in Bulgaria is so diverse that you will definitely choose your own for the soul. Or for educational excursions. Or for fun - as you remember, this is Sunny Beach Bulgaria. And even for alpine skiing, but this is a completely different article.
