Malta alcohol
It is allowed to import alcohol into the territory of Malta within the limits established by the laws of the European Union zone. Each passenger is allowed to carry no more than a liter of spirits and no more than two - wines of different strengths. You can take out any reasonable amount of alcohol, which, however, can be difficult to determine. The point is that the prices for alcohol in Malta are too pleasant, where it is quite possible to buy a bottle of decent local wine in a specialized store for 1.5-2 euros.
Malta's national drink
In the middle of the twentieth century, a drink was launched in Malta, designed to defeat the Coca-Cola products that flooded the markets of many countries. It was named Kinnie, as the raw material was Kinnoto oranges - bitter, tart and aromatic. Since then, Kinnie has been prepared only from natural ingredients, and it contains rhubarb and ginseng, licorice and anise. The rest of the participants in the technological process are kept in strict secrecy, and therefore the national drink of Malta not only perfectly refreshes and restores strength, but also carries one of the main modern secrets of the island state.
Recently, the Kinnie range has been expanded with a dietary option that is sugar-free and low in calories. Now fans of a healthy lifestyle among the Maltese and guests of the country can enjoy the national drink.
Malta alcoholic beverages
The vineyards of Malta allow the inhabitants of the country not to need great wines. Many varieties of grapes are grown here and dozens of different wines are produced. A common practice at local bars is to offer the guest a free glass as a welcome.

- Light Ale Hopleaf.
- Blue Label is a dark ale with a velvety head that tastes especially good.
- Cisk is a variant of the classically brewed light beer.
- Shandy is a lemon-flavored beer that is light and refreshing in the heat.
In addition to the above, alcoholic drinks in Malta are herbal liqueurs, a variety of local whiskey, and even analogues of sherry and port.
