The airport in Baku is named after the third president of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, and is one of the largest airports in the republic. The airport is located 25 kilometers from Baku, towards the southeastern part of the city, is equipped with two terminals and has two fortified runways with a length of 4, 0 and 3, 2 kilometers, fully meeting the requirements of international standards. This enables the airline to serve more than forty airlines around the world. The airport in Baku consists of two terminals - international and domestic. Convenient navigation allows passengers to move around the airport on a mobile basis. Transport
An excellent highway with no speed limit stretches from the airport to the capital of Azerbaijan. Therefore, a distance of 25 kilometers can be covered very quickly by car.
Every 30 minutes a regular express train departs from the airport, following route No. 116. The beginning of the movement is from 06.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.
Passengers are provided with a taxi, which can be ordered from the taxi service located in the terminal building, or by phone directly from the aircraft.
