Description of the attraction

The musical fountains of Sentosa Island can be more accurately called a whole performance, which attracts two and a half thousand spectators every evening.

A quarter of a century ago, it began as a musical fountain show. But Singapore is famous for its use of high-tech products in the entertainment industry. Therefore, pyrotechnic effects were gradually added to the musical fountains, then laser installations.

Leading masters of spectacle from China, Portugal, USA, France and Japan were invited to create a new show. Their labors and new technologies have resulted in a 25-minute light show that introduces the island's legends. It became the only permanent production in the world that takes place in the ocean. Arsenal of tools - laser holography, water geysers and other water effects, pyrotechnics, and, of course, music. The show is called Songs of the Sea or The Magic World of Sentosa.

All water wonders that sing, dance and glow to the music are accompanied by an actor, as well as computer heroes in a three-dimensional image on a water screen. It is created by the numerous points of the fountains emitting water. These points can be combined in any combination of jets, and also turn into a water fan, onto which the laser projects the figures of the characters. Laser beams are refracted in jets and drops, creating magical pictures.

Twenty-meter water jets and a magical play of light create a unique sight. It is difficult to convey it entirely, even with the help of photographs. Therefore, every evening the auditorium on the coast is completely filled with tourists and locals.
