Description of the attraction
The V&A Waterfront is one of Cape Town's most popular attractions. The entire Victorian Harbor area was completely rebuilt in the early 1990s. Today it is a lively area with many restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment venues. Historic buildings line the waterfront side by side with modern shopping malls, museums and cinemas in the same style.
Despite the large flow of tourists, the harbor continues to operate, thus adding even more attractiveness and charm to the area. Here you can also go on an exciting two-hour boat trip around the harbor on the small schooner Victoria Wharf or the sailboat Camps Bay.

A ferry to Robben Island departs daily from the pier next to the Exhibition and Information Center, near the Clock Tower. The guided tour and bus tour of the island includes a visit to the prison with a view of the limestone quarry, the Garrison Church (1841), the lighthouse (1863), the Church of the Leper (1895), and the birds that inhabit the island such as penguins, ostriches, ibises and others.
