For the little ones there is a mini-karting, a mini-carousel, jumping on trampolines and rubber bands, a labyrinth and safe slides. Those who like to tickle their nerves will love the rides: Matrix, Tornado, Sling Shot. Most of the rides are family-friendly.
New Jesolandia has a 500-seater bar and restaurant, picnic areas and sports games. In addition, the park takes care of the safety and comfort of guests: there are surveillance cameras around the perimeter of the territory, and private cars can be left in the spacious, lighted parking lot. A bus runs between the amusement park and the city center every half hour (travel is free).

Here you can see 24 species of sharks, among which the Zambezi shark (only 3 individuals live in captivity all over the world, one of them is in the Lido di Jesolo aquarium), blunt-nosed, tiger sandy, yellow, zebra, hammerhead shark, carpet, Asian feline and other sharks. In large aquariums, you can watch sea urchins, rays, octopuses, jellyfish and tropical fish. There are turtles, snakes and scorpions here. And the gallery of butterflies contains the most beautiful butterflies from all over the planet.

Nobody knows the exact date of the construction of the Torre Caligo Tower ("Tower of Mists"). Archaeologists consider the time of construction to be the 11th century, and historians have found documents that mention that the tower was built in 930. To this day, this medieval building has been preserved in the form of ruins. And once the tower was an important strategic object. It was built on the banks of the Caligo Canal on the site of an even more ancient ancient fort and served as an observation post and defensive structure to protect water trade routes. Such towers stood along every canal and every navigable river. And Torre Caligo, according to the sources of the 18th century, had a twin tower with the same name, but located on the other side. Not a stone remained of the second tower.
Today Torre Caligo is an important landmark of the Lido di Jesolo.
Laguna del Mort

In the place where the Laguna del Mort is now located, the Piave River used to flow into the sea. But in just one day - October 5, 1935 - everything changed due to a severe flood: the river overflowing its banks changed its channel, and the old branch was blocked by a huge wall of silt and mud. The former channel was left without access to fresh running water; water comes here only during high tides. This is how Laguna del Mort was formed with its unique microclimate.
This area is considered a nature reserve today. Various seabirds, hares, weasels, lizards, green toads, snakes and many other wild animals live here. The main plant species are algae and sea grass. After the war, junipers and pines were planted on the natural dunes of the lagoon, and reeds grew along the coast.
Today, the beach of Lagoon del Mort is one of the top 10 best beaches in the country according to the Italian Conservation League.
Laguna Valle
Another protected park, an attraction of the resort, located, moreover, not far from the center of Lido di Jesolo, is the Valle lagoon. In the old days, fishermen built dams on this place. So they made their fishing work easier: the fish came to the lagoon in the spring and went back to the depth only in late autumn. Over time, this peculiar marine fishing farm has turned into a nature reserve with its own unique ecosystem. Now here is the habitat of many rare and rarest species of animals, to see which in the wild is a great luck.

The archaeological site, just 2 km from the center of Lido di Jesolo, is easily reachable even on foot. The territory has the telling name "Antike Mura" - "Ancient Walls". The main exhibit of the archaeological zone is the ruins of the Cathedral of St. Maria di Assunta. In the Middle Ages, as scientists believe, this church was inferior in size only to the Cathedral of San Marco in Venice. Many relics from the times of Ancient Rome, found around the Cathedral of St. Mary, prove that the temple was built on the site of another early Christian church.
Many buildings on the territory of "Antique Mura" were well preserved until the beginning of the 20th century and were destroyed, unfortunately, during the First World War, when the front line ran nearby. Today the excavation area is the most interesting tourist attraction of Lido di Jesolo.
Porto del Cavallino
Porto del Cavallino ("Cavallino Gateway") is a landmark of Lido di Jesolo, located on a small island not far from the resort. Porto del Cavallino was first mentioned in historical documents in the 17th century. There was a customs office for merchant ships bound for Venice. All ships passing by were required to pay a certain tax. The size of the tax was clearly established by the rules, which can be found even today: the office of the medieval tax and customs service exists to this day, only in the form of a tourist attraction. And the set of tax rules, dated July 23, 1632, can still be read on the iron plate installed here.
