- Traveling with children
- Phuket for youth
- Looking for solitude
- An island for everyone
Phuket, one of the most popular resort islands in Thailand, is washed by the gentle Andaman Sea. Phuket is different. Noisy and crowded, quiet and calm, cheerful and groovy, lyrical and romantic - that's all about him. To enjoy your trip and not be disappointed by the discrepancy between the expected and reality, you need to articulate exactly what you want to see every day. Therefore, before the trip, it is worth asking where is the best place to relax in Phuket.
Traveling with children
Phuket is one of the few Thai islands ideal for families. Parents who come here with small children will be happy to note:
- special children's menu in local restaurants;
- the presence of playgrounds in the most unexpected places on the island;
- the opportunity to leave the child for a few hours in the company of reliable nannies;
- a large number of entertainment facilities for children, among which the Splash Jungle water park, Dino Park theme park and the local aquarium are worth noting.
Holidays with children will be ruined if you settle in a noisy area, where every night the audience dances in discos and has fun in bars. The quietest part of Phuket is considered to be two beaches - Karon and Kata, which are located at the western end of Phuket. The more northerly coastal areas with Kamala and Surin beaches are also family-friendly.
Phuket for youth
Patong Beach and the surrounding areas are a legendary place in Phuket. People come here for a wide variety of entertainment - alone and in large companies.
To be bored in Patong is simply indecent. With the onset of darkness, lovers of crazy parties begin to fly from one nightclub to another, making acquaintances, finding a mate for the night or for life, just resting, gaining strength before returning to their homeland. Young people come to Phuket - students, clerks who have just started earning a living on their own, yesterday's schoolchildren who decided to break away before entering higher educational institutions. Such holidaymakers have little money, so even ordinary hotels are too expensive for them. In order not to lose such a grateful audience, which brings considerable income to entertainment establishments, there are many hostels for young tourists, where you can find a good place to spend the night for a nominal fee.
During the day, all the party-goers relax on the beach. Most go for boarding or wakeboarding. The conditions for this in Patong are the most suitable.
Looking for solitude
North of Patong is Karala Beach, a quiet and secluded place with luxury hotels renowned for their excellent service. The lack of noisy bars and discos in the immediate vicinity is popular with many vacationers. Mainly elderly people who have come from Europe or Russia to improve their health stay here. Walking in the fresh air, swimming in clean water, visiting numerous spas help to keep your body in good shape.
Romantic natures, couples in love and simply lovers of a quiet holiday also choose Phuket. On the island, you can find almost deserted beaches surrounded by rainforest. It is also where scuba diving enthusiasts rest - a peaceful and quiet activity. Far from the blessings of civilization, there is Nighthon Beach. There are only a couple of hotels built next to it. Immediately behind it there is another beautiful beach for lovers of peace and quiet. It's called Nai Yang.
An island for everyone
Phuket will not disappoint anyone. Tourists who dream of seeing real Asian settlements, not spoiled by resort life, settle in the east of Phuket. There are no popular beaches, but marinas with pleasure boats are very close.
The private beaches of Pansy Bay are built up with super-expensive hotels, where world stars prefer to stay. Accordingly, there is no way for ordinary tourists to go there.
Wild can be called the Maikhau beach located behind Nai Yang to the north, where there is not even a primitive infrastructure. It is not suitable for recreation in the high season, because in winter sharks swim up to this coast of Phuket.
It should not be forgotten that the Phuket province also includes about three dozen smaller islands, many of which are famous resorts offering their guests pristine beaches and marvelous landscapes.
