Poland is an attractive country for tourists, and every year the number of travelers who want to visit this country is steadily increasing. First of all, Poland attracts with its rich nature and preserved architectural monuments. Bialystok, one of the largest cities in the north-east of the country, looks especially attractive in this regard. This city was founded in the XIV century on the basis of an older settlement, and numerous wars have left almost no trace on it, so the streets of Bialystok are already historical monuments in themselves and are of great interest to everyone who is fond of antiquity.
Lipovaya street
This street is located in the heart of the city and runs between the church of St. Roch and the main market square. During the entire existence of the city, the street has changed its name many times. In the middle of the twentieth century, it was renamed twice - in honor of Hitler and Stalin, but in the end it was still returned to its original name. This is not a very busy picturesque street, which is often home to cozy cafes, which makes it ideal for leisurely walks.
Tadeusz Kilanovsky Boulevard
Notable for the fact that it is here that the entrance to the famous Branicki landscape park begins. This picturesque corner was badly damaged during the redistribution of Poland, and until now only a part of the authentic ensemble has been preserved. However, the restorers did their best, and now you can take many wonderful photos here.
Traviasta Street (Travyanaya)
It is famous for the fact that it is here that the Church of St. Sophia of the Wisdom of God is located. This attraction is interesting in that it is completely identical to the Constantinople Temple of Sophia, only three times smaller in size.
