Amur is the most grandiose waterway of the Russian Far East. The length of the river is almost three thousand kilometers. The border with the PRC runs along it, and the Amur ranks fourth in the country among rivers in terms of basin area.   • Komsomolsk-on-Amur, founded by detachments of pioneering Komsomol members in the 30s of the last century. It is often called the "city of youth", and the local Museum of Fine Arts displays unique Chinese folk paintings of Nianhua.
  • Khabarovsk, named after the 17th century Russian explorer Erofei Khabarov. From here cruises along the Amur start, at the beginning of which tourists get acquainted with the sights of the city. The Khabarovsk Regional Museum has thousands of exhibits that tell about the history and cultural traditions of the region, folk crafts and rituals of its inhabitants.
