Description of the attraction
The voiced cave in the northwestern part of the Goryachy Klyuch resort is one of the most interesting natural attractions. This cave, in fact, looks more like a grotto and attracts visitors with its interesting acoustic feature: a person in the cave can hear all the sounds pronounced on the other side of the Psekups River, which is located at a fairly large distance, and vice versa. Thanks to this amazing ability, the cave got its official name "Voiced".
It is quite easy to get to the Zvonka Cave, located in the Petushok Rock. Therefore, it is often included in the excursion routes of the local region. To get into the cave, you need to walk along the ridge of the rock, and opposite the left source of the river, climb specially cut steps. Once inside the cave, the first thing you see is a ledge carved into its wall, which the locals use as a bench to rest.
A little higher than the Zvonka Cave, there is a small depression known as the Salvation Cave. The ancient Circassians once called it the Happy Grotto. These two caves are shrouded in different legends, according to which the Ringing Cave served as a refuge for many apostates who committed serious crimes and were expelled from the tribe. Other legends claim that it was in the cave of Salvation that criminals sentenced to death were hiding, and then they went to the sea along secret paths to leave their native lands forever.
The voiced cave, like the Petushok rock itself, is one of the mysterious and interesting sights of the Goryachy Klyuch resort.
