Airplane: fast and convenient

A direct flight from Moscow to Nice is offered by Aeroflot. The cheapest ticket for this plane costs about 320 euros. Passengers spend about 4 hours in the sky. Airplanes to Nice depart 3 times a day from Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports.

If tourists allow time, then you can save a lot by purchasing tickets for a flight with a connection in one of the European cities: Minsk, Barcelona, Rome, Dusseldorf, Warsaw, Prague, Zurich, Vienna, etc. There are very cheap flight options (from 73 Euro) from Belavia with an hour and a half docking in Minsk. An affordable flight is offered by Czech Airlines and AirBaltic (190 euros), although a transfer in Prague or Riga will take several hours.

A direct train to Nice departs from the Belorussky railway station in Moscow every Thursday at 10:18 am. He arrives in Nice on Saturday at 08:35. Passengers spend a little less than two days on the way. The train travels through Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Monaco. At some stations, for example, in Bohumin, Breclav, Innsbruck, Verona, Genoa, the train takes 20 to 35 minutes.

An interesting route can be made if you plan to see not only the seaside Nice, but also Paris. In this case, your journey will look like this:

  • you can fly to Paris or take the direct train Moscow-Paris, which follows through Berlin;
  • TGV high-speed trains run from Paris to Nice. The fare is about 70 euros;
  • you can also return to Russia via Paris.

Path by sea

Nice, as already mentioned, the port. This means that you can get here by ferry, for example, from Corsica. Thus, the tourist gets the opportunity to relax on the island of Corsica and at the same time see Nice. The ferry goes across the Mediterranean for 6 hours. The cost of tickets depends on whether you want a place in the cabin. Since the trip does not take much time, you can save a lot by buying a ticket to the common hall. As practice shows, there is something to do on the ferry: you can visit all the shops, stand on the deck, swim in the pool or have a cocktail in one of the cafes.

Most of the cruise ships along the Mediterranean coast also visit Nice.
