In high season, regular flights fly to the famous Thai island from such large cities as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk. Today, tickets from the following carriers are available to Phuket: Aeroflot; Air China; Qatar Airways; Emirates; S7; Etihad Airways; China Southern Airlines.

If you are flying from Moscow, then the best option is to purchase a ticket for a direct flight. Travel time will be around 9-10 hours, after which you will arrive at Phuket International Airport. You can also fly from the Russian capital with transfers to Doha, Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore, Guangzhou and Abu Dhabi. However, the duration of the trip is increased from 13 to 38 hours.

It is better to find out information about flights from other cities in advance from the tour operator or on specialized sites, since the departure time, cost and duration of connections sometimes change depending on the season.

From Bangkok to Phuket

Once in the Thai capital, tourists usually choose two options for traveling to Phuket - by plane or by bus.

Choosing a flight, you will significantly save on time, since in an hour and a half you will be in Phuket. It is recommended to book tickets in advance on the websites of Thai Vietjet air, Thai Lion Air or Thai smile. The cost may differ within a thousand rubles and be 2-3 thousand rubles.

As for the bus, then you will spend a lot more on the road. All flights to Phuket depart from the North and South Bus Stations, and tickets are bought directly at the box office. So, you will have the opportunity to find a ticket at an affordable price for a comfortable bus with reclining seats.

From Pattaya to Phuket

Often, tourists prefer to combine a vacation in Thailand in Pattaya and Phuket. Therefore, tour operators offer fairly democratic and convenient ways to get to your destination.

Bangkok Airways' planes run between these towns frequently, and the journey will take about two hours. It should be borne in mind that ticket prices may vary. This process is influenced primarily by the season and the number of tourists arriving in Thailand. Regular flights fly from three main airports in Bangkok, allowing tourists to choose a convenient time of departure and arrival in Phuket.

Thanks to the direct bus service from Bangkok to Phuket, you do not need to change trains, which is convenient. In the immediate vicinity of Pattaya South Bus Station, there is an office that sells bus tickets to Phuket. Passengers boarding takes place here. By bus you will go to the island for about 13-15 hours.

How to get from Koh Samui to Phuket

The flight by aircraft from one island to another within 50 minutes is carried out by the local carrier Bangkok Airways, which is the leader in ticket sales in this direction. Note that the tickets are quite expensive. That is, in case of saving financial resources, it is better to abandon this method.

An affordable option is a bus trip and then a ferry trip. Not far from the pier of Nathon there is a travel agency office, where you will be offered to purchase a bus ticket for 450-650 baht, including a ferry crossing. The bus makes a mandatory stop in Surat Thani, after which tourists follow the second bus to Phuket. If we count the travel time together with the ferry, then it will vary from 7 to 9 hours.

You can also order an individual transfer or taxi from Koh Samui to Phuket, but this service will cost you about 10-14 thousand rubles per car. No one will give you guarantees that there will be no traffic jams on Thai roads, since traffic in Thailand can be unpredictable.
